Often labelled as 'groove metal', Six Sins Till Sunday bring together influences including stoner, Southern rock, hard rock, metal, nu-metal, industrial and even classic cheese rock.
The band were formed in Plymouth in 2011 and have created a reputation for memorable, heavy, powerful performances, taking every opportunity to perform and put on a show. These have included sharing the stage with key upcoming bands such as Fractal Universe, Fury, King Creature and South of Salem.
Other notable gigs have been warm up slots for a mix of the country's top tribute acts in some of the most highly regarded gigging club venues. One of these tribute acts are made up of members of Six Sins Till Sunday themselves, performing as Robbed Zombie, Europe's only Rob/White Zombie tribute band.
The only remaining original member, vocalist Chris Newman, are joined by Steve Tapper and Deano Johnston on guitars, Andy Fleming on bass and Neil Harwood on drums.
With their debut album, 2019’s 'Masks', plus two EPs, 2020’s 'Unmasked' and 2022’s 'Cardinal Sin' behind them, Six Sins are currently working on a new album for release later in 2024.
The band are ambitious and put a festival headline performance into every show as that's the end goal. Every show will involve the participation of audience members, whether they invite it or not. The attitude is 'if a show isn't going to be engaging, all-encompassing, dynamic and ultimately memorable, it isn't worth doing'.
